I love this project, Sasha! I might not be able to get my older kids to see your videos, but you are helping me be able to communicate the wonderful thoughtful points you bring up. Already in just the title! What a wonderful new way to approach this concept of gender. I can’t wait for future episodes.
thanks so much! And yes, I’m hoping the channel helps parents to better communicate empathically with their child and raise some thought provoking questions. Stay tuned :)
I listened to your “A new way to think about gender. I am fond of Jung’s ideas on individuation. I also believe that a holistic relational view is closest to reality. You can have relationships with others and your self but that only happens when you are actively engaged in being with the relationship responding to cues and clues. It can be a wonderful adventure but it can be a nightmare if you fail to recognize the warning signs. The quality of relationships are recognized by those with deep experiential knowledge aka wisdom.
I have already watched your introductory videos. I appreciate how you are keen on helping people to help themselves rather than convincing them of a perspective. This is so needed if we as a society are going to thoughtfully engage on issues of gender and sexual orientation.
